About

Storytelling has been my passion and lifeblood for as long as I can remember. I’d fill notebooks with stories and illustrations, then go on to create pen and paper role-playing games. Eventually, I started tinkering with game engines and video editors, which took my love for storytelling, specifically in video games, to new heights.

I went on to study Film & Media Arts and Marketing at American University in Washington, DC. The idea of studying game design was a hard sell for my parents— film was slightly easier. In the Dominican Republic, where I grew up, game development is not deeply explored as a profession. It is my goal to push the medium forward, and to weave my Caribbean heritage into my work, inviting you to explore new points of view.

Aside from my work in games, I spend much of my free time writing. I’m currently working on revisions for a middle-grade fantasy novel rooted in Dominican folklore, which got selected for mentorship in Author Mentor Match Round 9.
